Back To Back To Black - Amy Winehouse Tribute New Haven Concert reviews
Regan and Ryan fantastic
Opening act, Tom Ryan, was a pleasant surprise. Mr. Ryan also seems to have the ability to provide real comedy without the gimmicks. Most opening acts for music or comedy shows are often times something to be endured until the headliner comes out. Mr. Regan shows that people can still do real comedy and be very funny without gimmicks and shock. We have been fans for years now after first being introduced to his comedy by my brother. The shock is gone and no humor remains (if it ever existed in the first place). It is nice to be able to take the entire family (my kids are 13 and 16) to a comedy show without being assaulted with a barrage of expletives that usually seem to be there for nothing more than shock value. Back To Back To Black - Amy Winehouse Tribute was excellent as expected. The opening acts therefore face an uphill climb in trying to win over the crowd. Segment after segment didn't disappoint. I will be searching his web site and/or Amazon to see if he has any CDs or DVDs available.
